Socktober

Way to go, Brookside Blue Jays!!! Socktober 2020 has ended and was a huge success!! We brought in 790 socks for Socktober!

These socks and other supplies will go a long way to support The Works and our Shoreline and Lake Forest Park Communities.

Toiletry Drive

Check back later for more information.

Every year Brookside collects toiletries to donate to The Works (see The Works below for more info). The toiletries are given to students that do not have the resources to buy their own. Any student in the Shoreline District can visit The Works to find new and used clothing, new socks and underwear, and school supplies.

The Works

The WORKS clothing room provides high quality, clean, gently used children’s and teen clothing to Shoreline School District families. Shoreline families experiencing economic hardship can bring their children to “shop” for gently used, stylish clothing and receive new underwear, socks and hygiene products.

The Works has been part of the Brookside giving program for many years. This is a year-round program that anyone can contribute too. If you’d like more information on how to volunteer or donate, please click here.

Monetary donations are always needed. If this way of giving better suits you, checks can be mailed to Shoreline PTA Council “The Works”, PO Box 55832, Shoreline, WA 98155. Monetary donations can be made using Paypal at The Works website.

For visitation days/hours please visit The Works website. Due to Covid they are running on a modified schedule and by reservation only.
