November 2011 Reflections Update – “Diversity Means…”
Congratulations to all the students who participated in this year’s Reflections!   We had a fabulous time at our Reception and enjoyed an evening of appreciation and celebration.

We had 52 entries this year!  Nice work everyone.  

15 entries were chosen as finalists by an independent group of 6 judges to move on to the Shoreline District Council competition.  Let’s give them huge “CONGRATULATIONS”.  Swing by the Shoreline Community Center to view their works after 11/29/2011.

Reflections '10-'11

 

Theme:  “Together We Can”

 

A HUGE congratulations goes to our four Brookside students who were chosen as Finalists in the Shoreline PTA Council Reflections Program: Mac Coffman, Luke Kane, Lauren Owens, and Zoe Reay-Ellers.  These students will now progress to the State PTA Reflections competition.  Let's wish them luck during this level of the program.

Congratulations, too, to the Honorable Mention Award Winners at the Shoreline PTA Council Level:  Lauren Owens, Riley Pavicic, Zoe-Sophia Shrader, and Ruby Spencer-Hamlyn.

And don't forget the other participants at the Council Level, who were finalists from Brookside:  Ashley Aversano, Jasmine Chiu, Torin Coffee, Alea Kirby, Jacob Lee, Aidan Mattson, Jenna Tikalsky, and Elise Wells.  Way to go Brookside Students!!!

It's never too early to start planning for 2011-2012.  Next year's theme is "Diversity Is..."  Put on your thinking caps and have fun with this theme.
