100% Membership

GREAT NEWS! Brookside Elementary PTA achieved 100% membership by March 1st and is eligible for the WSPTA 100% Membership Award. Achieving 100% membership (a member for every one of our 517 students at Brookside) ensures advocacy for each student.

We are also extremely proud and grateful to have 100% PTA support this year from all our wonderful teachers and staff at Brookside!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the families, community members, Brookside teachers and staff who have supported our great school by joining PTA this year.

Although we have reached our membership goal for this year it’s not too late to join and still receive a student directory and participate in the upcoming Free After School Activities which are scheduled to begin on May 4th.

To become a PTA Member:

2. Click on the PayPal Join button. You do not need to have a PayPal account to submit your PTA membership payment using this link.  Also, PTA membership is a donation and donations are tax-deductible.

Brookside PTA provides many outstanding additions to your school. They support a variety of field trips for students throughout the year. They finance the after school activities twice a year. The PTA supports academic math, the writing and family center and cultural enrichment programs, just to name a few! If have not yet joined the PTA or have not renewed your membership, please download a membership form. Thank you for your support!

Who can become a member?
Anyone! Dads, moms, grandparents, neighbors, business owners and other community members.

How much does membership cost?
$12 per individual member, or $10 per member for two or more members.

What do I get for membership?
Your membership supports the National, State and Local Parent Teacher Association. Your membership entitles you to receive a free copy of the Brookside phone book — a very useful item! Your membership also entitles your children to free enrollment in all fall and spring after school activities — a wonderful and fun addition to your child’s day!

If I join, do I have to attend meetings?
No, you are not obligated to attend meetings. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend.

Do I need to purchase a PTA membership every year?
Yes. A membership is valid for one full school year.

Do I need a membership for each child?
No, one membership per family will make you eligible for all PTA benefits. However, Brookside’s goal is 100% membership which means one PTA membership for each enrolled student. Help Brookside
receive the 100% membership award again this year!

May I sponsor a child?
Yes! You are invited to purchase a Brookside PTA membership on behalf of any child. This will also help us attain our 100% membership goal.
